Orientation
New Hire Orientation is held every other Friday at Impact | Salish Sea Elementary - 3900 Holly Park Dr S, Seattle from 10-11:30am. During orientation you will learn about Impact Public Schools policies and procedures, benefits, retirement, compensation, etc. All new hires (school site and Home Office) will receive an invitation from HR to join orientation at least 3 days prior to orientation.
Please note that if an orientation session is not available during the week when you start your job, your Director of School Operations or direct supervisor will onboard you. If you onboard with your DSO or direct supervisor, we still recommend that you attend the next New Hire Orientation session with HR.
All employees will be onboarded into ADP Workforce Now.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email hr@impactps.org
Fingerprinting
Washington State law (RCW 28A.400.303) requires that all new employees of a school district be fingerprinted for a record check through the Washington State Patrol (WSP) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This includes both school site faculty and Home Office staff.
Please prioritize completing your fingerprints and background check prior to your state date. We will monitor your results thereafter. The fingerprinting and background check fees are covered by the employee. Until we receive your fingerprints and background check, you are not permitted to be left alone with scholars. If you are coming from out of state, you can order a fingerprint card by emailing oppfp@k12.wa.us or calling 360.725.6135
