Dismissal & Buses

School Year 2024-2025 Bus Routes

Backpack and
Pick-Up Tags

For safe dismissal, every kid every day has their backpack tag everyday!

All families are provided a backpack tag for their scholar and matching pick-up tags for the family at the beginning of the school year. To pick up a scholar from the school building or from the bus stop, an adult must have a pick up tag that matches their scholar’s backpack tag.

Please be aware that all scholars must come to school each day with their backpack tag attached to their backpack to support safe dismissal procedures. If an adult does not have their pick up tag at dismissal, they must come to the front desk with their photo ID to have their identity verified before a scholar can be released to their care.

School Buses

Impact Public Schools offers bus transportation to and from school. Please be aware that bus routes may be adjusted based on community needs and actual ridership.

Signing Up for the Bus: If you plan to use the school bus, you need to indicate this information on your Dismissal Survey over the summer. If you would like to sign up for the bus later in the school year, please contact your school’s Director of Operations. Adding a new student to the bus requires 72 hours for our bus vendor.

Bus Family Expectations:

  • Families will be asked to download the Zum bus rider app to track their child’s ride.
  • Families will be asked to make changes to the riders dismissal plans prior to the stop time for arrival changes, or by 10am for dismissal changes.
  • All families are asked to be at the stop time 3-5 min prior to the stop time to ensure that buses run on time.
  • All scholars must be met by an ADULT to be picked up from the bus. Students without an adult will be returned to school at the end of the route.
  • Families with students who are returned to school 3x may be invited to a meeting with the schools Operations Team.

Bus Rider Expectations:

  • All bus scholars are expected to remain seated on the bus at all times for safety reasons. If your scholar is unsafe on the bus, they may no longer be able to ride the bus.
  • All Scholars must be picked up by a parent or guardian from the bus. The bus will not leave scholars unattended. We ask all parents to arrive 5 min before the posted stop time.
  • Scholars are not allowed to eat or drink on the bus.
  • Assigned seats may be set up for bus riders if needed.
